Drilling out the end of the bolt isn't something I'd want to do simply holding it by hand.

I had the best of both worlds... I had a vice and a drill press.

well that may be the case for you but if OP doesn't have access to a drill press then doing it by hand is possible.

LC engineering sells a brake line kit that includes the factory hard lines and brackets that were made for the tundra calipers http://www.lceperformance.com/Stainless-Brake-Line-Kit-Tacom-To-Tundra-Upgrade-p/1055114.htm no drilling or banjo fittings to cast surfaces that aren't machined for them. When I did mine, I used that kit, brembo rotors from tirerack.com, napa calipers , and factory toyota pads and shim kit (forgot part no, it's in the T4R thread) everything bolted right up ( other than cutting the backing plates )

Sorry if this has been asked but will this work on a 2001 preerunner? I found a set (calipers)of 13wl powdercoated red on cl for $150.

!6's you should be okay. Are you running wheel spacers? I'm going to try and make a caliper template tomorrow. That way you can be sure.

No spacers. I know the backspacing is molded on the inside of the rim. Not sure what it is though.

Heads up- I have 16's and mine didn't work. I didn't look at the list of "approved" wheels for the Tundra brake upgrade and had this issue:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/now-that-is-a-conundrum.491648/

The only way to know for sure is to put it on there and see if it works.

After i make a caliper pattern/stencil this can all be simple to determine if your wheel will fit.

Can anyone confirm which brake lines to get from wheelers? The Tacoma lines or the Tundra lines?

I assume the Tacoma lines but want to be sure before I order them. I have all the other 05 tundra parts (Eclipse Napa Calipers, OEM Rotors ,pads/shim kit) waiting anxiously on the shelf to be put to use.

Thanks for the heads up. Had a look at your thread and hoping that I don't run into any issues.

Picking them up in the morning. Calipers and pads/shims for both sides. $180.
I guess it's a 50/50 shot as to wether they will work with my rims as they are not on the "approved" list.

Is it possible to just bolt these up before I get the rest of the hardware to test fit or is there something else that's needs bolted to the caliper that might contact the rim?

Nope just calipers are fine for test fitting. Two bolts.

Also a bit concerned about brake lines. I just had new extended braided lines put on. Someone a few posts back mentions a wheelers kit that shows tundra to Tacoma lines. But it shows it for the "S" caliper.
Blackdawgs writeup shows that he used standard Tacoma soft braided lines.
So...im going to have to purchase new lines?
