Tire size question

Hi all, haven't been on this forum in a while.

My stock 265/65 R17 tires are just about gone. My neighbor has set of Goodyear Wrangler Fortitudes 255/65 R17 tires from his 2016 Chevy Colorado.

Will the different tire size fit on my stock 17" wheels? Also, will these tires look smaller and more skinny than my stock tires? Will it be that noticeable? I hear the speedometer might be affected? I'm a total newbie with all this tire stuff.

Yes they will fit, but look a bit smaller and skinnier, and the speedo might read a little higher at freeway speeds+.

You can use tire size comparison websites to look at the actual visual size difference, and see actual speedo readings.
