Is it worth the hassle too put a remote transmission cooler on a 2006 DBLC 4.0 trd,in order too avoid any red milkshake problems,I live in a very hot climate during the summer ( Las Vegas).

    1. Have you physically verified your truck doesnt have one installed? Does your truck have a tow package? (you may already have a transmission cooler installed)
    2. Do you tow or carry loads in high temperatures?

    Anybody
Yes I have the tow package, and it looks like a cooler is also installed,BUT it also looks like the lines are still routed through the radiator too me as it has the 2 lines going in-n-out of the left side of the radiator.

That is how nearly every manufacturer does it. Trans>Rad cooler>external cooler>trans. I think you'll be just fine, unless you're towing borderline max loads regularly.

    I don't tow anything.

Why would it? You're not putting any additional stress on the vehicle that would otherwise compromise the quality and lifespan of the fluid. The factory cooler is more than capable to handle the base load.

If you arent towing dont see the benefit.

I worry about the failure of the tranny cooling tank inside the radiator due too the truck being 11 years old.Don't know if anybody has ever had one fail.

that was more of a 1st gen problem, and even then it wasnt that prevalent.

As long as you keep fresh coolant in your truck you will be fine.
