I havent posted on TW in a long time but decided to finally make a build thread. I've owned the truck since 2015-2016. She has a Nov 2015 build date (Baja, Mexico) and the trucks been through a lot of phases but I think she's almost done... lol probably not.

    Will update as I go

Thanks man! The color is great, I originally wanted quicksand but it only looks good with the right set up.

I have the limited version so right now I'm trying to figure out how I want to black out my side view mirrors and door handles.

I'll spend 5k on suspension but I can't pull the trigger on a 70 dollar wrap job for the mirrors

Guessing those are standard mid-travel fronts since I don't see LCAs. Could you post pics of your preload (if you're going up 3", which I would assume) when she's all done. I'm running ADS switch 650# springs and I'm curious about others. My preload seems a little much but not out of the realm of sanity.

Driver side attached for reference. Passenger is less due to lean.

    Here is the pic.

Didnt take a pic of my passenger side because its threaded and at the same lift.

I do have less clearance on passenger side. I didnt put back the "taco lean" spacer because i will correct that through the coilovers.

So im leaning a bit to the passenger side right now. The rears are super high due to new leafs and shackle flip.

Going to give it about two weeks for the springs to settle, then i will readjust from there. Hope this helps, let me know if you want any other pics and i can try to get them and post.

Looks relatively similar to what I have. You're leaning on the passenger side with similar thread count though? Should be leaning drivers side.

Oh, that's taco lean. You just gotta crank an extra rotation or two in and it'll be good. The 600# springs require more preload, but you won't be as stiff as guys running 650/700.

Looking good! Have you had any issue rubbing on the shock body at full compression in the rear? Or are you running spacers in the rear? I've heard it may be necessary with the long travel kings...

Your build is awesome and wish I had the time and $$to do allot of the same with my Limited. One question. Did you purchase new fog light & grill bezel or just paint the black?

I'm all good with the chrome handles & side mirrors, but like what you've done.

I just plastidipped them. Probably like... 5-6 coats of black plastidip and 2-3 coats of plastidip clear coat. I didnt want to spend money on the front bumper too much because eventually ill have a aluminum bumper up there, not anytime soon tho.

I havent really figured out what i want to do with the side mirrors yet. Not really on my priority list at this moment . Probably will get them wrapped black or colormatch at some point.

The plasti dipped SR5 grille looks a little better than the TRD pro grille on the Blazing Blue tacoma. I may have to replace my awful TRD OR chrome grille with an SR5 grille

Yeah I like t. Plus what's a trd pro grill cost? 350-400 bucks? Money spent better else where.

I only plastidipped the outer chrome and emblem. I didn't even do the actual gray part. On sr5 I think it's just black ? On the limited its grayband chrome
