If you keep to the fire road 2wd is fine. If you go the slightly longer route you could have a couple spots where you will need to be smart in wheel placement but 2wd should make it

unless a storm really messed something up in the last couple months there is basically nothing to worry about on this trail. nothign to climb, nothing to worry about. Its just a fire road. You can take the long way and go through some loose gravel areas. I guess you could get caught up there. but you could awalys stack a rock.

If you're going to the summit it's gated about 3/4 of the way up. If you're just going from hwy 160 to goodsprings you should be able with 2wd as long as you have good tires. Stock probably won't have enough grab in some spots.

Thank you for the welcome and for the heads up
I quit school in LA to help my parents deal with a medical emergency. Dad's been in the hospital since March 30th, I arrived on the 31st since my mom said I wasn't making it with just school and no job there  So, gonna finish probably at CSN and landed a job at the new Sportsman's Warehouse they're building in Henderson. Orientation is Wednesday, Grand Opening is May 20th. I was hired for the hunting section and am trying for my ccw as soon as I am able (getting my NV DL on Monday). If I were to join Metro, I'd want a stronger military background. The army I have isn't enough (long story) lol on top of the already short novel I've just written :D
That's it, in a nutshell. Sorry so long :goingcrazy:

Used to? I've seen they have 4 of 5 stars on google. How did you like it? And which section? I am definitely doing my hw  Also, there is more leniency here than CA for sure! I'm loving the less restrictions on auto's here, and traffic is not even close to what I had to deal with! :annoyed:

Ah, sorry to hear man. If he is in Vegas hopefully he is at UMC, that's probably the best place to be medical wise unless your family is more apt to use a religious based hospital. My uncle passed away after 75 days in UMC on Dec. 30th but they did there best. Maybe I'll see you around CSN, just about to finish up this semester on the 9th. Only at CSN for now because it's cheaper but will transfer to ASU either this next semester or Spring 2018. Congrats on the new job, yeah would be helpful to have a ccw while in the hunting section, i'm glad we're finally getting one back, Sportsman's Warehouse was gone for a while. There are a couple officers that run double duty, when they are called for service, Metro keeps them as officers on unpaid leave for the duration of their tour and then they come straight back, do quals at the range and go right back to full duty on the streets or the bureau they were in, plus Metro pays extra for prior military and when you want to buy time (years in pers) prior military i think gets the option to buy 8 instead of the standard 5. Lots of good resources for you to take advantage of if you do join. If you have the time or patience, pm me the story. If you cant thats fine, but it sounds like its one of those youve got to hear it stories :rofl:Sorry for my long post too lol
