Not sure what it's based off of but it sucks. Might as well just put hand lotion all over your interior.

303 is amazing. The entire family have been using this product for years. It really does repel or prevent dust and hair build up during the time it's active. Great for pet owners. Usually about 3 weeks before I start to notice build up or residue around the dash. Won't spend my money on any other interior vehicle protectant.

I just started using 303 on my truck. my question is does it wash off in the rain? i have vertical streaks on the fender flares after a light rain.
I've used 303 for years on kayaks and never had that happen

Did you wipe it with something dry after?

303 is the best protectant I've ever used, but it is not a restorer. If your plastic is already faded, it won't help.

If it's faded, use mothers back to black. Both will drip a little, like when it rains, but if you use a microfiber towel and really rub the stuff in and it won't run.

Yeah, you're supposed to rub it in well so it bonds better. I buy the 303 wipes, so I'll do several plastic trim pieces, then go back and buff it in with the same cloth. It makes a difference for sure.

    I've used 303 for years.

My ONLY gripe with the product is how much it outgases. I dislike having to wipe the residue off my windshield for a few days afterwards.

However, the quality of the product speaks for itself.

I use the liquid (bottle) and wiping it after to help bond is what it says on the instructions

I only used the spray on my kayaks and the tonneau cover. I did wipe down the interior pretty well and the windows were open for a few hours afterwards not sure if that makes a difference. Using it on a vehicle is new to me.

A friend of mine went to space camp and learned that 303 was invented by spacemen and guaranteed to include 30 percent genuine ground alien and 10 percent moon suculent. They invented it to make the moon rover tires shiny to look cool in case they came across any hot alien chicks.

All I can say is I have to believe him because I never met an alien that did not have beautiful skin.

It's great stuff. It's the only thing we used on boats. But if it's going to rain anytime soon, then don't apply to outside the vehicle. I try to make sure I'll have 48 hours without rain before applying to any exterior surface. And always spray the towel rather than the surface.
