I would also expect an increase in MPG if this were true..

Just an update, truck is still driving and shifting great after the rear diff oil change! I'm thinking the trans was probably working and shifting properly but the power was not getting sent to the wheel properly because of something with the diff? Anyways, I don't give a F what it was, the truck is still driving great now so I'm happy. Maybe people with "trans issues" should replace their rear diff oil if they have not already and see it it helps.

My truck drives way better after a car wash. Seems to drive a lot faster! :) J/K

Just glad your truck is dialed in now...

Ok, so what does "reduced propulsion" mean? Seems just what it sounds like, but I don't how a dry diff or bad gear oil would cause that? Some kind of "drag" on the drivetrain?

Or is "reduced propulsion" public relations speak for "this shit will break, and your forward movement will be reduced to as fast as you can push the damn truck".

Reduced propulsion...like the lack of low end torque. Damn we could only wish there was a RECALL fix for that.

I changed my blinker fluid and greased the muffler bearings the other day, and oh boy what an improvement in the way the trans is shifting now. :bananadance:
