This horse has been beaten, I think.

Check out these skid plates a dude on the GX facebook group posted the other day. Aluminum, powder coated, and to his door for under $700.

I imagine you guys are familiar with RCI, but you may not be familiar with their 4th gen 4RUnner/GX 470 skids.

Note the "similarities" between the two. They're the exact. same. thing.

These people clearly had access to some of Josh's skids, copied them, and slapped their logo on the front. Fuckkkkkkkk that.

Except his "PR" response was lame. Total punt.

He acknowledged TW though; which shows the pull the forum has.

    That's cool.

I know this doesn't mean much, cuz wife. But I showed her the 1st pic in the OP, and she said "nice, those are your wheels. Wait, is the things around the wheel an option?" I told her to keep looking and she finally noticed that the caps were two different brands. She asked if one was copying the other. Lol

I have stealth wheels, ray 10's to be exact. Love them, the only downfall is I need a 5th for my swingout and them being in stock is like winning the lottery. I'm not switching to VTX, I'm just looking out for a friend

This. I love how he "welcomes us to voice our opinion" except deletes any naysayer on IG for voicing that opinion. Also, welcome to the internet, where ideas are stolen daily and everyone has an opinion

Because they're entirely different companies and an entirely different situation.

If Yeti was nothing until they came on TW and developed their product using the community and then big company RTIC came 6 months ago and joined TW and started advertising the same product under their name, then it would be the same situation.

It isn't, so your example and smartassed retardery still fails.

Kinda different but I get your point. BTW, I don't own either Yeti or RTIC cooler however, I am gonna guess they're a lot like roof top tents ;)

I think the main thing with Yeti/Rtic is the Rtic cost what the coolers should and the yeti you pay extra for the name. I put the blame on Yeti for charging entirely too much for an ice chest, I could buy a refrigerator and have money left over. Maybe I'm wrong but I'll buy Rtic every time.
