I seriously can't stand Garrison. Their products are trash imo. I couldn't even choke down the older bottle of cowboy. Luckily I was smart and had someone sample it out to me. I wanted to compare it to whoop and holler. Which was a let down. TX Bourbon has to be one of the nastiest things I've ever had the displeasure of trying. Right alongside Slaughterhouse and Willet Pot Still.

so far it's been the only bourbon (or whiskey) i've had that doesn't make me gag. now, that's not saying much, admittedly, as my taste for it isn't nearly as picky (refined? experienced?) as my taste for beer.

Anyone want a set of Rotiform SIX 17x9 +1 Matte Black? I got these in stock and a customer wants to bail on them so they're going to be on the way back to me soon. $800 picked up in DFW, $850 shipped.

Really? You need to try some actual good bourbons. I can add you to the DFW Whiskey Club on fb if you'd like. We have it set to private.

Any opinions on the TX blended whiskey? I keep eyeballing this at the store.

Non are worth a fuck besides witherspoons. Some balcones is said to be good but out of the 2-3 I've tried I wasn't impressed. Of course this is all personal opinion. Also most Texas whiskey isn't really Texas whiskey. Most of it is sourced Whiskey. Only a couple distillers actually produce Texas whiskey. That tx bourbon is. God damn it's awful. Garrison is as well.

Most of it is a marketing gimmick. Not that sourced whiskey is wrong. If it drinks good drink it!

I'm down to the last of my Bulleit Rye. I'm hoping to find something a little more mellow, maybe with a bit of smokiness to it.

The only bulleit I like is the barrel strength. Which isn't sold in Texas. All the others are meh personally. I'd rather have rittenhouse rye bonded. Bookers rye is fantastic. Smooth ambler ryes are good too. Whistle pig is pretty good but overpriced. I do enjoy them though.
