Alright, so I have a clicking coming from what I believe is the front end of my taco. It is both audible and I can feel it through the floor. Only problem is it's not always there. When I first drive the truck in the morning its gone, but when its 90 degrees out and the trucks warmer I feel and hear it. It only happens when Im rolling under 10 mph, really closer to a crawl speed, and usually the truck has to stop first and then when I take my foot off the gas and let it roll do I hear and feel it, like at a light. After accelerating it goes away. Got underneath today and my CVs have a little play in them, more play in drivers side then passengers. Shook the front drive shaft and heard what I thought could be the noise but hard to tell. And is it true the front shaft doesn't move until engaged in 4hi/lo? If so then that doesn't help. Had the ECGS bushing installed a few months ago so I'm wondering if its something from that or just a bad CV? Any ideas? Havent put it into 4hi/lo yet to see what happens.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
If you can feel it through the floor I'd check the heat shields mounted around the cat(s) are secure but I could be wrong. Good luck!

Try your body mounts, I know it's only a 2012 but it still could be. Mainly the 2 small bolts between the cab and frame.

Thanks, Ill check both those tonight after work. And to clarify, when I said take my foot off the gas, I really meant to say take my foot off the brake.

Well neither of those two options panned out. Everythings snug there. Clicking still there in 4hi/lo. I know brakes are going to need to be replaced soon so that would be my next guess.

Is it a rhythmic clicking? Does it speed up while you accelerate? Or does it just click once...?

It sounds like a rotational click, not one or two but a consistent click. It completely goes away after accelerating. Seems to only happen when im creeping around 5mph but as soon as i touch the gas it goes away. It's consistent in the sense that when its happening it clicks multiple times but seems to only happen around a certain speed and after i've hit the brakes, which is what causes me to think it might be a brake thing. If i could keep a constant speed i would imagine it would just continue to click

Well if anyones interested, I think I've narrowed it down to the passengers side LCA bushing. the clicking became more of a creaking. Still not totally convinced thats what im feeling through the floor but for now thats we're i'll start. anybody have any recommendations for bushings?

The noise you described wouldn't be the LCA bushing. I just had my LCAs cut off because of seized bushings. They will creak when the arms flex, but not a constant clicking.

I'd be looking at the wheels and drive shafts to see if there's any debris like a stick somewhere.

the problem is it's not a constant clicking, occurs only at very low speeds. Maybe it is my driveshaft and when the trucks moving faster the driveshaft balances itself out so to speak. Or maybe it's not the bushing but another aspect of the LCA. Going to try and get a video Up if I can. All I know is after jiggling a bunch of crap around, there is most definitely noise from the LCA

did you ever find out what the clicking was? Mines doing the exact same thing and I can't figure it out.

Check your carrier bearing on the driveline for play. What RPM is it most notable at?
