I love my 2017 TRD Sport Double Cad SB 6 speed MT. I agree that the power band is a little high for a truck, I usually shift around 2-2500. Only way I would trade for an auto is if they made a stupid good deal on a TRD Pro auto, even then I would think long & hard

Got stuck at this really busy intersection on my way to work last week, and I almost pulled out but stopped since I would have risked getting t-boned. The lady behind me slammed into me since she thought I was going. I get out (after saying the f word a few times). I check the back thinking it's going to be a mess. Only thing messed up was the rubber Toyota hitch receiver cover. I got her info just in case, then got back in the taco, and when I was FINALLY able to pull out, I got up to about 5K in first then shifted into second chirping the tires going about 35.

I would not have been able to let off that amount steam after sitting at that busy intersection much longer than usual, and getting rear-ended with the AT...haha.

Thought about it, but won't compromise on locker or access cab. Should be able to pick whatever trim with tranny, it's not like they aren't already being built anyways. The auto is ok after being filled to proper fluid levels and 1st tsb. Just like changing my own gears better.

I understand. 6-Speed makes this truck much more fun to drive.

Yes it is. I found a dcsb on the lot when I had service done a while back, took it for a test drive and it was fun. Just can't do the dcsb though.

Well, you can either buy a Sport, buy a Canadian OR or wait for an American OR which might never happen.

I highly doubt the ACOR Manual will ever happen again here.

Have you sent Toyota a letter expressing your desire for an AC OR 6-Speed to be sold here?

I have not, just do not see it happening. Someone posted up how the EPA figures out MPG's and the larger the interior volume the less MPGs are required, that's why Single Cabs are out now.

I live in NH x3 hahaha. Ya a good stiff wind on the highway plus the hills slows me right down in the 4banger !

Hey guys I am at the dealer and they offered to buy my truck and offered a 4cyl 4x4 manual.. just what I want but the numbers where awful... basically give away my truck and pay considerably more on my monthly payments plus a $2000 bucks down...

I can't be so greedy at this point in my life... I'm 29 (only 3 years living in the us) planning to invest in real estate (buy a shitty house, move in, fix it, sell it) have kids...

Conclusion, I have plenty of time... I'll wait and when the correct moment arrive I'll get my 20xx taco 4x4 v6 long box manual... I'll have to go to Japan to get it or something but I'll get IT!

    Cheers!!

Remember, lower payments means longer payoff time and more in interest to be payed.

Haha that's nuts. I just sold my 2011 sr5 DCSB 6cyl for $19,300 with 93k on it. I know it's a bit different but still...
