Hey guys, just wanted to follow protocol here and introduce myself. Live and work in the Florida area and looking to buy a Tacoma. My current car is paid off and I am just putting a little more money aside for a down payment before I pull the trigger. Still debating on either waiting for the 2018's to come out (want to see if the auto transmission issues are fixed) or going for a discounted 2017 in a manual transmission. If I can avoid manual I would like to only because I work in medical device sales so I am constantly traveling in my car and traffic in Orlando is awful for a stick shift. I would like a DBL CAB OR 4x4. Thought about getting an SR5 because I eventually would like to modify it with a lift as well as some other things but I am intrigued by the thought of at least having the OR options in case I end up in an area with elevation. Again 90% of the time it will be my daily driver, the other 10% I want to be able to take off road for fun. Let me know your throughts.

    Thanks!
