Correct, depending on stud centers you may want 6" or 8" between the seams to hide the nails.

They use it on planes all the time. Speed tape aka duct tape.

    Mystery switch solved.

Previous post mentioned a double switch in my loft bedroom. 1 switch controlled two lamp outlets.
    The other was an unknown.

Last week I replaced a motion sensor flood light. (Old one was dead, hideous and inoperable). As far as I knew, the switch by the front door turned the flood on/off.

As we went to bed last night, I turned on the switch by the stairs, flood came on. I asked the Man to toggle the unknown switch. Presto! The flood went off!

Now... why there's a switch to operate a motion sensor light upstairs... I don't know.

So when the raccoons are eating garbage and you want to go back to sleep, you can turn it off without having to walk downstairs :notsure:

I finally was able to get it cleared Friday. I had a 50' snake that wouldn't reach it, I ended up getting one of the bulbs that goes on a water hose and swells up to seal the pipe then forces water in. Worked better than expected.

Closest neighbor is down the hill, a few hundred yards. Otherwise nothing anywhere near by.

    Hint:

Put a fitting on the bottom and add a quick connect. Connect a dedicated hose for blowing up lawn mower tires or dust out of the shop. You drain any water out of the tank every time you do this. No more laying on the floor to open that stupid drain valve. Saves a lot of time and saves the tank from rusting from the inside.

    Take care of this beauty.

Was any of this plywood "treated" lumber? Those birds will peck at anything.

Great! Some of the wood looked to have a greenish tint on my monitor. Carry on.
