What is it about the Rigid lights that makes them so expensive? What do they have that others don't to justify the price?

    Hi,

mostly quality of components and craftsmanship. Many of the imported lights work well and are fine for lots of people (some are total crap). Rigid lights have a higher quality PCB, go through a selection process for their LEDs (called binning) where they color match LEDs and get the brightest of them. have a better, longer lasting coating, and are brighter and more efficient.

They also have good customer service and an excellent warranty.

More info here if you are interested although some of this is not accurate for all imported lights. For example, we sell our own brand of lights as well, and our lights use genuine Cree LEDs, have polycarb lenses, molded gaskets, and breathers (vents). But our lights are not as efficient or bright as the Rigid lights are.

Hope that helps, let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,
    morgan

You get what you pay for.
The light output is far superior compared to the cheaper brands of lights. I compared my 2 10 inch light bars next to my friends 30 inch $100 light bar and the rigids were way more brighter. Don't get me wrong, I was impressed by the cheap bar but the build quality wasn't the greatest. With rigids the build quality is outstanding and you don't need to worry about the lens turning yellow or moisture getting inside. In the end it all comes down to what you're looking to use the lights for. I love rigid lights but I didn't want to pay a couple hundred bucks for back up lights. I ordered some cheap ass 15 dollar light bars instead lol. I'd rather smash/damage those then the rigids.
