I've looked all over for led pods I like. They either all look the same or they didn't look good or had bad reviews. So I found some cheap pods on Amazin with good reviews and made a few changes. Thought I'd share as I could find much on the subject. I color matched the reflectors and painted all the hardware. Here are some pics. Also gave me a chance to seal them up a little better.i would live to do this to a real set of pods, but don't have the stones.

Why would you paint the reflector bowls?

    Output is going to suffer.

I'd be more apt to believe that except you're showing only 20 ft of throw in those pics.

Can't imagine they'd change much, looks like you used gloss paint and not matte black, but have to figure it's a decrease in reflectivity nonetheless.

I still have to test them long distance for sure. But for $20 plus paint thought it is worth a try.

Those will probably be the ones that go on the truck long term.

I dig it. Just hope it doesn't cut their output or throw much.

Prefer non-reflective faces too, but not there for aesthetics, really, so I don't mess with it.

Installed. Not wired yet though. I'll have to mess with the angle. I think the color match looks tacky. But they'll do for now.
