i am headed to AZ tomorrow from Colorado and I noticed this week that my uniballs are worn out. There is some play in the uniball. I verified it by jacking up the truck and letting the suspension sag. I can wiggle the tire like I'm checking for wheel bearings. The whole uni ball moved around and this is my cluncking I am hearing. Would you guys think it's safe to go on a road trip for the weekend? All highway driving. I can't imagine them breaking? Anyone ever broke a uni ball?

I would replace them asap, id be worried about them enlarging the ID of the housing for the uniball (but I may be a little paranoid with some $600 arms as well

i would change them, but you should be fine. it will only wallow out the cage, so it shouldnt damage the arms. but i would get them changed out asap
