Source for 1st gen interior parts, panels, etc

96 Taco x-cab; trying to find source for interior parts/pieces/panels, etc.
Also, source where/who can tell me what body parts are interchangeable between models, years (I.e. Will the 96 4x4 grill fit the 96 4x2; will 2000 taco door panels fit my 96, etc.??)

Ive seen the 4x4 grill on a 2x4 before, you need different corner lights too.

The interior pieces I am willing to bet have different mounting points among the years. I purchased some quarter windows off a 98-00 model at a junkyard because they are factory tinted black instead of the mirrored finish the 95-97 style have. Well even though they looked identical, the mounting hole for the latch was further forward and I couldnt install them.

 

The door panels seem to be identical from 1995-2004 fit wise. I have 2004 double cab door panels on my 1998 extended cab. I also have the 2004 console. A lot of parts are interchangeable but your mileage may vary.

 

So the 01-04 door panels will work with an older style dash? Were many 01-04 trucks sold with crank up windows? All I've seen are power, but I'm not really searching hard right now, yet.

 

Go to this Toyota parts website and look up the parts you have in question and it will tell you all the years and models it fits. Obviously some parts this wont work. Yes they will work with at least 98 and newer. I haven't seen a manual window on a 01-04 either

 

Oh man I see crank Windows on '01 to '04 models all the time. When I was looking for door panels all I could find were the crank window versions.

How much "cooler" (style) is the 01+ dash? I don't care too much, but I'd like an 01+ manual trans console and door panels. I got 02 buckets already. The 98 and 2001 dashes look about the same on google images...

I've got manual windows and I have an '03

 

Apparently people with manual windows get in less accidents down here in SoCal lol. Better for them.

 

I have '03 with crank windows. My kids love them as it's the only car they have ever seen them in
