For sale is a 3 piece frame box kit I had purchased earlier this year but going in a different direction so this needs a new home.

Made by JTA Metal works and as described as,
"Frame box plate kit that is made from 10 gauge cold rolled steel, they are CNC cut to be welded inside your factory rear frame to help battle frame twist for the weekend warrior all the way to the hard Trail Runner. These plates go from your gas tank cross remember, rear to the very end of your frame section."

    $110 Shipped

If you got that from Jerry, it's great product. I got mine and welded on. Whoever gets it will love it.

What would this do in a rear-end collision? Would it save the frame from folding like an accordion? Cause possible injuries from a collision?

The main purpose of these frame plates is to box in the C channel on the rear of our trucks for strength. Made to prevent the frame from bending from normal off-road use as Texoma experienced.

Too many factors in an accident situation to say if they will help/prevent the frame from bending.
