It's an actual mid travel truck that can hit jumps almost as big as my truck. The suspension was actually designed for travel unlike everyone else bolting in some shocks. Also the different levels of 4x4 is sweet. Rear wheel drive where the computer can send power to the front to help hold your line. Sure can hit whoops faster than mine because it is heavier and more stable. I give it to Ford making a pretty darn good production prerunner that someone with a F150 can't copy. Anyone here can make a trd pro with a little $$ by just bolting stuff to the truck.

Driving up to bishop. The fucking wind blew my goddamn soft topper off. I got lucky and it was less than a quarter mile back down the road. The rails are pretty bent but I might be able to bend them back. I was about to be real pissed if I lost that thing.

Me in my late 40s would buy one instead of a sports car. It be for the guy that doesn't want to mod a truck up. All of us here have the mod bug. So wouldn't be the truck for us.

Oh shit good save. Way to make it stronger for wind?

Thanks bud. Made it up safe after that little mishap. Just glad I was able to recover it.
Maybe more clamps? I dunno. Winds were crazy.

    Not. Well.

Hell my dad had a first gen now got the new one and the new one I want to mod :anonymous:
I love driving that thing 100% more than the Tacoma...that twin turbo v6 is impressive.
It's our "service, small parts pick up truck" lol

I want to take it out one of these days to Barstow or somewhere to see what it can do.

Could you imagine that black topper just wrapping it's self around the car behind you at night. That could have been bad.

I have 3 clamps (9 total) on each side including a aluminum rod that runs the length of the front. The velcro sucks.
