Hardrock off-road April trip

You won't have any trouble keeping up or getting stuck every 3 feet. It's just that you won't be able to hit a majority of the obstacles. There's a lot of steep hill climbs there that a 2WD just can't manage, even if you're nuts like Thorny Mike from Bellevue . Still, it's not an enormous place so you should be able to stay in the action.

@wade9986 I'd also add that you could probably park beside Todd's tow rig and ride with one of the 4WDs.

Honestly though, given the lack of rain we've had, you might be able to do a lot more than we are thinking. Usually it's pretty damp and the hill climbs are pretty slippery, but if it's powder dry...that might give you a chance.

Not looking good for me. The Diff is back in and everything seems good with that but won't switch into 4wd.transfer case switches and I can hear the front Diff trying, but it's not completing the front axle lock. Have to figure out what's up

 

I don't wanna jinx myself or anything, but I think I'm feeling better now. Still a little stuffed up but I believe I'm on the back side of whatever it was afflicting me.

Sunday looks a tiny bit better than Saturday, but damn, it's gonna be hot. It'd almost be better if it was raining.

 

Freaking hot today! Came home and it was 84 in my house. Normally it only gets up to 80 without the ac on

 

It sure was. And we're just barely into spring. Full on summer is going to majorly suck this year if spring so far is any indication.

When we did spencer's, I had trouble getting the vacuum hose for the diff actuator back on and connected. Double check that it is on the barb good and also check the other end of that hose. Check for rips or cracked hose as well.

 

2nd gens don't use vacuum for the add. It's all electrical. This is definitely an electrical problem. I am starting to suspect the limit switches in the transfer case. Gonna try to trouble shoot at work today.

 

Um...Spencer's truck is a 2nd Gen.

If Todd says he connected a vacuum line to it then it had a vacuum line to it. The man knows his shit, full stop. I recall being surprised it had a vacuum line going to it as well. Spencer's truck is a 2011, a preface lift 2nd gen. I think yours is the first year of the face lift so maybe they changed it with the face lift, but if you're having trouble getting the ADD to lock in, then maybe there is a vacuum line in there you didn't notice.
