I didn't sell my softop that I expected to this weekend, just trying to bring myself to send 200 bucks. I want bed lights, hood lights, 2 backup pods and a remote. If I had sold the top, won't have to listen to th wife and my inner cheap skate.

Could you put together a "softopper" kit? Something like the one I quoted below with clear shrink tubing to hold the LED strips on the tubing and connectors to make removal of the softopper easy. Maybe even a switch that mounts to the bars using a clamp?
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01ELLJYGY/ref=twister_B01F8XFRQ0?_encoding=UTF8&th=1

I was going to build one myself, but there are so many different types and quality levels of the LED strips I don't even know where to start. Plus, if you build it they would match the warm white color temperature of the bed lights and hood lights that I got from you.

    Matt,

My cool white short bed lights went out about 6 inches into the string and I only managed to use them once! They looked great, but 6 inches of light doesn't have quite the same effect as the whole bed did. Is there a warranty? :p

    Thanks,
    Michael

MX4 has been ok, it looks great but I've had to do a lot to limit the leaks. I have some write ups on the improvements in the MX4 thread. I still get some minor leakS. It it is significantly better now. The LED lights have been great! I highly recommend them! I'm really glad I put the switch on the drivers side, much more practical for me.
