But if you're asking if 15" wheels will fit a 2nd gen tacoma: they won't fit a 6 lug model, only a 5 lug tacoma can fit 15" wheels.

Computers not that that good with !....Building & fabrication 50+ years experience , I'll be 59 next month.....Thanks Much for every-bodies input .....

What's the advantage to using 15" wheels other than more sidewall on similar height tires?

    Thats about it.

Unless you want to have limited tire and wheel choice, and not run bigger brakes. 16"s are the new 15"s.

Yeah.....15s.....Well,an old buddy of mine, gave me the wheels (he pulled off of his 84 Toyoda 4x4) I had'um blasted & power coated.... Then it was said it "couldn"t be done" "won't work"! (automotive EGO kicked in !) Got a great deal on the tires off of "Craigslist".....Last but not least I'm an ol'scool guy and like'um ! Hell man,The only time I'm off road is when I drive through the grass at my shop to turn around.
It's look'n pretty good with the 6"bulge "duraflex fenders Too! ( Front are on the truck now. I'll get the back on soon.) I'll get more pics ASAP!!!
