Never on a taco but had it done on an Altima once. Lots of damage repaired that lasted as long as the car did. Looked great.

PDR is definitely an art. If you find someone that's good, they'll have it looking like brand new again- no worries there. If the damage in your area was widespread, there will probably be crews coming through town that will stay for weeks due to all the damaged vehicles. Have a chat with a couple of them, ask if you can watch them work on some dents. If they're good, they'll be happy to let you observe. And then you can make a decision on who you'll like to hire.

I have seen some incredible results from paintless dent removal. They usually replace hoods and roof skins on Tacomas. Insurance will take care of you on this.

Mine was beat up by hail before its first oil change, I just left it... It looks terrible. It looks like a beautiful woman's legs, but with a lot of cellulite.

Had it done for a single hood dent that looked like a golf ball or baseball hit it. Completely invisible. The PDR tech did say they have repaired hail damage. I think as long as they can reach it from the inside of the sheet metal it can be done. Good luck!

OP, one thing you may consider doing... Have insurance do an estimate now, but get it repaired in about a year. Sounds crazy, I know, but many of the smaller dents will "heal" themselves with temperature and heat fluctuations, especially on thin steel. You may end up with a bigger payout from the insurance company than you actually need if you do this.

Not sure if the insurance company would endorse this idea though.

Had paintless dent removal done on my wife's Hyundai. Lot's of hail damage, hood, roof, trunk and one side. Turned out great. Insurance paid $4,000 to have it done.

Thx for all the replies. I live in Arkansas. Pics dont show the damage well on my white truck. It prolly has 20 dents total. Wifes got it worse. Prolly 100 on her Hyundai. House roof damage as well. It beat around 30percent of the leaves off the trees. Insurance claim filed this morning. I'll take it to them monday to look at.

Lets see if these show on her car. I counted 40 dents on the hood alone.

I had it done last year after golfball and larger hail. Biggest dents were above the hood braces and near the edges of the roof and fenders. PDR worked great for me.... no painting to match and no aftermarket hood/roof panels. The insurance company adjuster had in the paperwork replace the hood and cut off and replace the roof. Metro Dent north of Dallas did my work and will have my jeep next week for minor hail repairs.IMG_0047.jpg

I remember several years ago, I was in covered parking, guys I work with getting the windows knocked out of the vehicles...holy crap was it loud.

There has been a lot of huge hail in North Texas again this year. A guy I work with had baseball to softball size. Some of it so big and hard it went thru his roof decking, insulation and sheetrock ceilings.
