What is your opinion on a TRD Decal on Base Model Tacoma?

I have took my Tacoma off roading with some Jeep people and was able to do everything they did. One thing they said at the end was "Your truck deserves a TRD sticker." So I made some custom TRD decals this morning for it. What is your guys opinion on putting TRD decals on a base model Tacoma?

 

Do you like it? If so who cares what other's thoughts are. That's like everybody rushing out to buy all the Poser Pro stuff, they are Pro's.

 

Nothing wrong with it, just avoid saying sport or o/r and it won't confuse the next owner as well.

I had those tires on my jeep when I went offroading with some Toyota guys! They didnt suggest I get trail rated logos lol

 

It's your truck so you can do what you want to it.
Just don't try to sell it to someone as a TRD model.
Also don't think the 2wd can do anything a 4wd can do.
As soon as you start thinking that this is when you find yourself stuck in the middle of nowhere by yourself.

I've had other Tacoma owners ask if mine is a TRD, I always answer like this, The Real Deal and send a picture of the read locker switch.

 

This horse... it needs to stop being kicked and made into glue already.

Our opinion is not as important as your opinion on ur own truck unless you leave the sticker on when u sell the truck and claim its something it isnt and deceive a buyer.

 

I dig the decal! As long as you like it, who cares?

 

I only added mine when I had a locker installed.

 

Doesn't matter to me. It's a custom decal. I think it's cheezier to attempt to buy an OEM TRD Off Road decal to put on the size bed.

I personally prefer no decals or badges.

My TRD sport is only a TRD because of shocks. Performance wise there no difference. Either way it doesn't make a difference.

 

Base model, slightly modified.

Personally, I don't dig any TRD, 'cause outside of the supercharger you can no longer get, there's nothing 'racing' about any model.

 

I don't see it as a problem regardless. Just don't deceive a buyer if you sell it later. Looks like a nice sticker IMO

 

You made custom stickers and put it on so why are you asking us. You clearly want them........

 

I don't really care for the bed stickers. I just removed them from my 17 OR. It's your truck and you like them, so that's that.

 

Cool decal .... but that's a mountain sheep, not a goat ....
