Should I upgrade my suspension? A little bit of paralysis by analysis here.

Planning a 1K mile move which is mainly flattish highway miles. Will be pulling a loaded uhaul 6x12(aprox 4500ish pounds) and have maybe 1K of bodies+gear in the truck. A decent amount of weight, but well shy of the 11,100 pound limit for the truck.

I have the original 2+1 springs with an AAL that I put in in 2008. Have recently added extended bump stops(sumo springs).

    Not interested in air bags.

    I see my options as:

    1. Leave as is. I will only have the truck another 4 years or so and it was adequate the last couple of times I’ve towed a similar weights in a uhaul 6x12 for shorter distances. Not much bounce and the addition of the sumo springs will help. Price free.

    2. Go for the OEM 2nd gen leaf spring recall and add a progressive AAL. Drawback being the ride heights for the recall springs are all over the map and my stuff is level now. Price $200-$275.

    3. Get a full leaf pack such as OME Dakars. Will raise my unloaded back height ~1” from what I have now. Price $500.

    Thanks in advance.

This is how it sat loaded the last time:

Thanks for the replies and validation. Barring any wierd change of plans, I'll keep her as is.

Armed with hindsight and the information on the board, my 2022 Tacoma will likely be set up a bit stouter.;)
