I know OME has been asked to death but I'm looking to order some front springs and I'm leaning towards the 887's. Will I need the 1/2 inch spacer to be level.

I've run dakars on a 12 but I used the revtek spacers. Trying not to go with a spacer lift this time. But I'll get the poly spacer if I need it to keep it level.

Putting the 887 on stock struts.

    Thanks
    Dustin.

887s should get you right to 3" of lift, so no spacers needed. Be advised that with that height, you're very likely to need new UCAs to get back into alignment.

Thanks man. Yea I know it's right on the edge of needing UCA's. I got away without them on my '12 but I probably paid for it with alignements more often than would be needed so ill be planning on a set as soon as I can this time.

Yep you'll need new UCA's, I did 887's with Deavers AAL. So I cannot comment on back. Good luck.

    Not an overbrander.
887 on stock shocks isn't advised.

Oh shit, I didn't even catch that one. OP, do NOT put these on stock shocks. Get some 5100s and put them on the lowest clip.

887's will get you right at 3" I ran 887's with Dakars for awhile on my truck. They were great until I added a bunch of weight to the front.

Don't do it on stock struts, get some Bilstein 5100's or OME Nitros

Hey Brother no disrespect intended but why recommend Amazon? And that's if he has Prime at that price, go to @HeadStrong Off-Road for 199.00 shipped which is about the same as Amazon. You get great Customer Service, Warranty, and you help a TacomaWorld Vendor. Shit breaks down Amazon isn't gonna do shit for you, and if the Amazon seller isn't an Authorized Seller from Bilstein. You will be shit out of luck if they break.

Thanks guys, could I get high enough with the billies and stock coils at the highest setting?

    No weight on the front.

Not level, if that's what you're looking for.

Expect 2.75 from the Dakars, that's the average.

Compare your current measurements now, measure them and add 2.75 to the rear. What's the difference in height (then) from the front to rear?

No worries man, it's a valid question. It's the cheapest I've been able to find it and I personally wasn't worried about warranty work with them. That was a risk I was willing to take. When I was buying parts awhile ago, I PM'd Marie asking if they would price match, and she said no so that's why I went with Amazon. At that particular moment I was trying to save every dollar I could, so I went with the cheapest I could find. I was just trying to appeal OP by being inexpensive, so he'd be more likely to go that route as opposed to using stock shocks.

Thanks guys. Things are tight and I was going to try to get it lifted pretty quick but I'll probably gather everything up as I can and do it all right the first time. 5100's, 887's dakars UCA's

    Thanks guys.
