Yea mountain bike. We went to Sunny Hollow since we all work at Costco and get out at 1:30 so it's nice during the season when it's fully open! It was dry today and yesterday, but only a couple parts are open, but still fun ride for an hour! We also go to Saxon, Mud Pond, Perry Hill, Hardack is 2 blocks from my house so that's nice! We're all heading up to Kingdom trails for a camping/biking weekend in June!

So I did the calipers last night did both sides. Just did a gravity bleed on all four brakes. Didn't have anyone else here. Back together at 10:30. Not bad if I do say I'm really not set up that well but 3 1/2 hrs.
Rigged up a bleeder bottle this am and wrapped it up.

Not sure who does most their own maintenance but.
I saw this and made one for bleeding/flushing brakes.
Worked like a charm easy peasy.
I used 5/32 wiper tubing and a bottle in the recycling bin.
    IMG_5550.jpg
Instead of bleeding brakes I got rid of the old stuff and pumped new fluid in.

Anywho I had a great time doing my brakes I enjoyed my time with it and how easy it is to do this, even with my low tech knowledge.

And I would recommend the power stop brakes. I have the drilled slotted rotors and ceramic pads. At like 20k they looked liked new after cleaning.

Pretty quite here in town considering we are the main st detour and the maple festival is going on.

This bottle allowed a 1 person bleed. Gotta make sure you start with fluid in the bottle above the tube so it can't suck in air.

looks the cold damp rain feels like it could snow wether is back for the maple festival also.
    Seems pretty quite this year.
Parade today we should have a full house here.
The kids and some of their friends come here to park and hang out.
I should swap wheels today but think I'll wait.
Glad I didn't have the bronze trd wheels on when the caliper piston let go. Brake fluid is nasty nasty stuff.

Hope everyone's having a great weekend so far!

Yes. This has been a good one so far.
I love the cool mornings and sunny days.
Our mud season didn't last forever this year, thankfully.
The rivers are in great shape too.

    I'm thinking I didn't.
    What springs are the upgrade?
I just used what the kit came with.

I am just going with what I have read on the forum, but I think the factory set up only have one spring per side. Correct? And some people add another spring. I think to get the pads to stop clicking.
I will try to find a post that I read. I am pretty sure it was Crom's thread.
