I have a 2017 and it has under the rear of the truck the factory wiring connections for installing the bumper mounted trailer connector, I've looked online for the OEM wiring harness to purchase but can't seem to find a descent price, don't wanna pay $200 for the pigtail and bumper 7 pin connector.
Anyone know of somewhere to get a descent price kit ?

So you have a truck without a tow PKG , right? And you're wanting to put in a wiring harness on said truck to attach to your trailer? If so Curt towing products has a harness that's practically plug and play. Check
e-trailers.com. Just have to run one of the wires to the battery. Very easy though. I have one myself. And @moe2o4 , can you give this man the link you sent me for the correct 7/4 pin bumper harness from e-trailers. I hope this was the info you were looking for.

Yes it has no towing package but does have the quick connections under the truck for the trailer wiring, was looking to see about a factory type of wiring pigtail that would be connected into the bumper RV and Trailer plug, I found one of these on eBay just no pigtail.

Well like I said the Curt harness is the only one I know about other than factory. It's only $50, and it plugs into your tail lights then just run the 4 wire pigtail to the bumper plug and connect into it.

Yep you guys got it, ordered the 4 pin wiring harness then cut the 4 pin connector off and wired it into the 4/7 pin connector and left the other 3 wires out for the brake controller!

I installed the Curt 4 Pin Trailer Wiring on my 2016 SR. The only problem I ran into was the converter box is not fuse protected. While out of town Fishing, I had to tow someone else's boat a few miles. Got back that night and noticed I didn't have any running lights on the trailer. Checked all the fuses on the truck and even went and bought a cheap multimeter to test with. Called Curt told them my issue and readings. They said my box had failed due to a short to ground somewhere and said they would Warranty out this first one. So I had to ride back from LA to AL at night with no Trailer running lights. If it happens again, I'll definitely be purchasing an OEM Harness.

I have a 17 SR without the tow package and I saw those pigtails underneath and I'm going to go with the factory Toyota harness and hitch but the dealers not much help on the wiring. Does anybody have the part number for the OEM harness , The dealer seems confused on this.
    Thanks

Go with the Curt converter as described above. It's cheap and it's plug and play. As for harness for fogs, buy an aftermarket harness on Amazon or eBay. I have one and again it works and is a lot cheaper than factory. I've seen another write up on here talking about the factory harness. It had to be ordered from Japan and you have to know how to hook it into your ecu to make it work like the factory version. Much more difficult in my opinion. Hope this helps.
