Haha cool, figured you just typo'd the units. Sounds cool just a little dangerous if you hit a rock too hard then your air locker, if equipped, is out of operation.

Ah... this is where the 2012 Peterbilt fan clutch comes in...
In the pic, to the RT of the ARB manifold, you can see an AN fitting to braided line. That line goes to the fan clutch switch which turns off/ on the feed to the slider.
If I damage it, and I have, I shut off the slider feed and retain use of the lockers.
Make necessary repairs to slider in the shop and off we go.

Here is a photo of the switches.
I'll get a good shot of the hard part switch this afternoon.

    Opinions??
    Putting in an ARB single
CKMA12 just for occasional airing up
I want to run an additional line to the back passenger side inside the box
Thought about running a hard line either copper or stainless steel but then I would need to buy a bender & bend it

What are your thoughts on this braided stainless steel line for the supply line
Seems like it should handle the pressure and temperature ok
And would be easier than a hardline to route along the frame
    ????

I did the copper line years ago with the same unit you have. That line got hotter than hell. Any rubber type hose will burst... I did that route too.
The braid type hose you need is automotive issue. You'll need AN fittings to go along with that. You should find some at a local hot Rod shop.

    Good luck.

To add on, Slee makes a really nice mount that I recently purchased for my own. It's a twin but the instructions mentioned that it works with a single as well.

    Nice install.
I had issues with the supplied ARB line from the compressor to the manifold, it was too small in diameter. Condensation causing rust plugged it up which made the compressor work too long to fill my slider.
I had one custom made which cured the issue.

Where are you planning to install the manifold?

No manifold for my install. The compressor will be for filling tires only at this time. Super overkill for the job but I got a really good deal that I couldn't say no to. The mounting bracket does allow you to mount a manifold as well. It would mount to the left of the compressor.

Thanks for the reference! Wow - $120 for some light gauge stamped and pressed sheet.

^^ That is a clean install.

I installed my air chuck inside the fuel door, it's out of the weather and I don't need to lift the hood.
Also, here are a couple pics of the Peterbilt fan clutch solenoid.

Yeah, it is a bit pricey but for what it's worth, it's well made and the powdercoat job was flawless. Everything lined up perfectly and no modifications to the bracket or the truck were needed.

That's not a bad idea, I was planning on mounting up in one of the bed boxes, but I like this better.

    Yes
...and this is what's wrong with Murica' Everybody wants everything but is not willing to pay US workers a living wage for it or to cover manufacturing costs for it. Steel, Cnc draw time, cut time, electricity, press brake time, labor for all of these, powder coat, hardware, packaging, etc etc. How is $120 too much ?
