Will these work on a 1995 extended cab pickup? Not a taco.

Got mine installed today. Getting those little metal rods to come out of the plastic is a PITA. But well worth it. Thanks for the tootsie roll btw.

    Pretty much stock
Wow. No posts on this thread for awhile. I stumbled on here by accident. My rear window clamps have been broken since the first months after I bought my Tacoma in December 2000. I can't believe Toyota never issued a recall on this part. Unbelievable... Thank you so much for making these parts. I just put in an order on the eBay site. I can't wait to have functional Xtra cab Windows again!

Patience. It was a long time ago, but I can still remember how lame it is to replace such a small piece. I remember trying to hammer out the pin and trying to go easy so I didn’t break the plastic. There’s the video that shows you how to do it, but patience is key if you don’t wanna break more pieces.

Yeaaah!! Ebay said it's compatable! So this is what I need if the prong thing is what's broken?

The plastic part that connects to the window or the metal part that connects to the truck?

Looks like a lot of assemblies are sold on ebay - you could look in the buy sell trade first gen parts section and post a want to buy ad for whatever part you need.

The 1st pic is what is should look like, 2nd pic is it broken. Is that the same thing as these (being sold) that you guys are fixing yours with? It makes sense since they seem so damn easy to break, I'm sure everyone is breaking them and needing to replace them. But I just don't see that prong shape thing (that I broke) in the pics on these being sold. Is that because my truck is 1st generation & all you guys have newer ones that take a different part?
