Ok so I have an 01 Tacoma with the 3.4 (5vzfe) and I'm getting a cel with a code that says P0306 which is a cylinder 6 missfire. So far I've replace plugs, plug wires, coilpacks, injector, and plenum gaskets. It's all buttoned back up correctly and every thing was torqued to specs but it is still sputtering and the motor shakes really bad when I give it gas. Any one else ran across this issue before? Really driving me crazy

Could be timing belt? Or maybe not enough fuel? Was there anything that caused this or did it start after a certain thing got replaced or broke??? Or did it just randomly happen 1k miles after most recent matinince?

Start with compression test. Dry and wet.

I did a tune up about a year ago the same time the timeing belt and water pump was replaced. I did recently have a new cat installed when I redid my exhaust. With new denso sensors. Checked and everything seems to be good no lose bolts or anything. And is there an easy way to check compression or do I need a shop?

Super easy if you have the tools it just goes in the spark plug hole. Auto zone might have one for you to rent for the day or go to a local harbor freight

Go to orileys you can borrow one, very simple, take out plug and this is important ! Take all coils off plugs, crank for about 5-7 seconds since you won't beable to see when the needle stops gaining pressure just crank for that long to insure you get proper readings, at 280k my truck was 125 psi when I had my old t100

Mine just rolled 214 and never gave me an issue. Went to leave for work and half way there started sputtering and lost a lot of power. But thank you very much brother I'll definitely try and get the stuff first thing tomorrow. I'm hopeing it's nothing serious.

Well, honestly you can check the injector right now to, put your finger on the injector and see if you can feel it tick out your finger on the others try and really feel it if you can obiously tell then go get a thing of marvel oil and fill your tank with that and goood gas!! Give it some good driving and if it don't help in 25 minutes of 80mph it probably won't help just go buy some injectors and google how to do it, shops are overrated

Injector was replaced still have the same issue it was easy just time consuming bc it was under the lower plenum. I'll definitely try the marvel tho

Dude if you've replaced all that and still can't get it to fire I think your rings in that cylinder are bad, what else would cause that  you should check that psi and get back to us !
