So upper ball joint came apart and ABS and Slip indicator warning lights came off. Replaced ball joint, disconnected battery for over 30 minutes drove for 20 minutes from 0-60 mph and did nothing changed. Owners manual only says what the lights are. Will these lights have to be cleared by a shop or dealer?

Also, driver side upper ball joint was aftermarket. Was able to get it off with ball joint tool I rented from Advance Auto. I saw that the passenger side could be replaced too and I like doing suspension/steering work in pairs but saw that it was OEM. Ball joint press would not fit. Need like 1 more inch to be able to get C-clamp on and this was the best ball joint tool I could find. Com on Toyota, thanks for making it difficult! Also, for Moog ball joints, how the hell do you get the boots on?

The only cause and effect is that the ABS wire to the hub was stretched and damaged due to the ball joint dislodging.

Inspect the wire all the way from under the hood to the sensor in the hub.
