Hi all! Feel stupid even asking this but here goes...Just playing around with this entune JBL head unit in my truck (2017 TRD Sport w JBL). If you go to Apps, then Maintenance you'll see several categories of maintenance you can track and set reminders for. I have my preferred dealership entered and saved. My question is do I have to manually input my next service date or does the system automagically populate that info once I schedule the appointment for service with the dealership? As in, does the head unit know when the next appointment is based upon some kind of sync with the dealership scheduling system/Entune phone app or anything like that?

    Thanks.

It's manually entered by the tech, all that is communicated is the dates to the unit. No information is sent to Toyota in this regard.

I have never set all the items on any vehicle. I just set the oil change and next service date.

Tire rotation and air filter intervals make no sense. They are subjective on condition, not age.

Yeah...remove that dealer crap and adjust your "reminders" to what YOU want...! When YOU change the oil...adjust your reminder... It's a nice feature to have if you drive a lot and are gettin' older and the memory is failing.!!

I had been using the reminders then during a service the tech decided to do a clear all and reset them all :annoyed:
