Here's a side by side view. This was back when I installed the seats. They now have some black seat covers from cover king.

First thing I did was traded my bench seat for some buckets. I need to get them cleaned.
Also picked up a center console storage from walmart for $29, It fits perfect and tons of storage.
    20170410_102848.jpg

I also installed a wink mirror. The view is amazing.
The mirror has a set of Vato Zone white LED strips running along the bottom to replace my dome light.

Map pocket lights (white LEds) that stay one for set amount of time then auto dim with mirror lights

Video doesn't do it justice for how bright they are.
    Heres a better pic.

I lnow it's not interior. But the map pocket lights do the same thing. Delayed dimming.

Update: I found a center console. It will be reupholstered in the same theme as my door panels. Can't wait!

If you want more storage room you should spring for the 2001-2004 center console! Honestly one of my favorite mods ever. The amount of extra storage room is amazing.

It's a major turn off to buy a Tacoma without the 2001-04 center console

The reason I went with the older style is because there was already one installed in the parts truck I bought. Couldn't argue with free.

Got rid of my raggety bench seat and put in these Integra seats. Soooo much better. Thinking about some sort of center console, but Kinda like the open space.

How does the seating position feel compared to old seat?

I ended up taking 3 of the brackets off of my old seats, hacking off the mounting brackets on the integra seats and then welding the tacoma brackets in place. The only original mounting point I used was the front outside mount. Technically the front inside mount bolted right up as well, but it sat up too high on the inside mount and tilted the seat towards the door. All in all though it was pretty easy to do, maybe took 2, 3 hours max. Also the seat belt latch is a direct swap; Just unbolt the Integra ones and bolt the tacoma ones right in their place.

It is dead on, pretty much sits exactly the same, maybe like .5 inches lower if anything. The driver seat has adjustable lumbar support and overall they are much much much more comfortable. They slide forward just as far if not more to allow access to the back seat, and I believe slide back just as much as well, at least it feels the same.

For reference I scored a free pair of scion seats prior to this and tried extremely hard to get them to work. I wasted a lot of time trying to lower them as far as I could but once I got them installed they were just too bulky and sat way too high despite my efforts. Installing these seats seemed 1000 times easier than messing with those.

If you have a welder I would highly recommend looking for honda/acura seats from about the 91-99 (maybe more) time frame, they seem to be very similar in ride height and much more comfortable. Also, because all the ricer kids want to put in harness seats these are available all the time on craigslist. I got these seats for 45 bucks.

I like the feel of my tacoma bucket seats over the ones in my honda but those look like they fit well.

Yea, I can't attest for the bucket seats. I had the 60/40 bench seats and they were beat to death.

How'd you mount them? I heard only 3 holes on the 4Runner brackets mount up.

That's what I had heard as well. In reality, 2 of 4 (inner rail closet to center console) lined up perfect. The rear foot on the outside rail was off centered by half an inch. The front foot on the outside rail was swapped off my tacoma bucket seats.

Oh I see so you chopped up the old bucket rail seat rails and welded them onto the 4Runner one?
