Extra injector allows for more fuel to be added so you can keep an acceptable AFR under higher levels of boost. On the first gens it's worth it if you're going to make any upgrades on the 2nd gens you'll need to make quite a few changes before you'd need another injector.

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
Many have found with the system on the first gen that under high load low RPM will experience pinging. The seventh injector system may even be required without any mods. I believe it is dependent on the environment and the specific vehicle.
    But I may be wrong...

I'm having a performance shop weld my cats and do the pump. They offered to just throw the pulley on for next to nothing.....so why not.

I know it's easy, looks simple enough. However, I don't have the tool and have never done it. As easy as it seems it is something you can easily mess up. The pros that do this every day like it's nothing are gonna have thier hands on it so I'm good with that...

Do you guys know if anyone has every done a back-to-back towing review of the supercharger? I really like this truck, but I really think I need some power and springs before I can use it the way I want to, as a weekend tow rig for my Jeep JKU. It's either throw $7,000 or so into this truck or try and sell it and get a more capable, larger truck.

I have heard of guys using the s/c specifically because they tow and not a performance enhancement. I just don't know enough about towing as far as capacities and what not....but it can be done. On the other hand, a bigger truck I'd imagine would be your best bet.

I kind of agree with the "buy a bigger truck" comment for heavy towing. If your truck is struggling to tow your rig right now, a Supercharger will help tow, but the base problem is your transmission will still be getting maxed out. The truck is rated for a certain load for a reason. An SC isn't really gonna raise that level, just make it easier to get to that max
