Been wanting to get a Tacoma for awhile now and recently a dealer buddy of mine got a good deal at an auction and called me up to see if I'm interested.
Its a 2014 4 door six speed and appears to be a Baja edition. So my question is was the Baja series ever made in any colors besides Black, Red, or White? (All I can find online is red and black and very few white ones).
He started describing the truck to me and said, "it has a huge sticker that says Baja on the bed, it also looks like its lifted a bit and has some rim lock looking wheels that have the TRD logo on the cap" I got all excited thinking it was a true baja edition but then he told me the color of the truck looked like a "goldish charcoal" I'm assuming Pyrite Mica...? Anyways I know a bit about the Baja but am no expert, I won't be able to see the truck in person for at least a week or two when it arrives and he only got to look at it for a few min and did not snag any pics so we have limited info as of now. He didn't know much about it so he didn't look to see if it had the baja suspension or anything.
Anyways from what I can tell it looks like the baja was only made in those three colors and this is probably a fake. (I have no idea why someone would fake that? Considering if it was me I would take the baja sticker off even if it was a real one) But I thought it was worth an ask, maybe they allowed customers to special order colors or something?
Also does anyone know what colors the original baja wheels were offered in, I read somewhere that there are lots of replicas out there but the real factory ones are pretty tough to get ahold of so would like to check that as well.

Anyways I would appreciate any input if someone else knows more than me, like I said I'm new to the tacoma thing but have always been a car and truck guy so feel free to correct me if I have my facts wrong. Weather its an actual baja or not I'll probably pick the truck up because its a good deal either way. I just don't want to pay more than its worth or be driving it around like its a baja when its not (nothing bugs me more than seeing people put an "M5" badge on their base line BMW haha) Anyways hopefully either way I will be a part of the tacoma family soon.

Thats perfect at least I know now it does exist. Looks like it has the wheels, exhaust, and graphics but not the upgraded suspension thats a bummer but still a cool truck thanks.

Also, T/X and TX (Texas Edition) are different. Not confusing at all right? Show us some pictures. Look for the outlet in the bed of the truck. Or a Rear locker button. If it's a TRD or not, it still might be a good deal.
