who wants to split a Sena 20S with me? I want one.

Save some money and get a 10. The 20 really only gains you radio stations, all the other extras aren't worth it.

 

Does it have Bluetooth?

 

Yes. They all have bluetooth. Kind of the point of them

 

More people can connect.

More people with cheaper ones and chinese ones can connect to the 20

I know. But I personally haven't ridden in situations where, A. Enough people have bluetooth comms to hit the limit of my 10, or B. Have enough people with them that I want to be connected to haha

 

Downside to my 3s is that I can only connect to one other person, I want to upgrade to a 10s but its just so large and really the only plus is amount of people you can connect to and intercom range

The 10s really isn't that bad. It's actually smaller than mine because I have the older SMH10. But if you're wanting something slim you could always get the 10R. Very slim.

True, I just don't have that many friends....

 

There is literally no one around here under 40 that has coms so i know how you feel

 

I put off getting a Sena for a few months after I started riding. Friend of mine was practically begging me to get one but I didn't see the big deal. Now that I have one I could never go without it. Super fun when you're hooliganing around with friends too.

Wife wants me to get her one, but we haven't really done any long rides to warrant spending the money.

 

I just have no one to ride with. Any time I have time, everyone else is always busy

 

So I'm curious, for those that wear earplugs while riding are you not worried about hearing the other noises around you? I would feel terribly uncomfortable not being able to hear the little nuances that come with ridding let alone others around me.

• Full disclosure, I already have hearing loss from from the military so anything that inhibits the already muffled noises bothers me

 

You still hear everything just fine. It takes away wind noise and imo makes other noises clearer.

 

I wear earplugs or in ear headphones for music. The wind is very bad for your ears, just like letting your dogs hang their heads out the window. You can def still hear sirens, horns, other vehicles

 

i only hear wind and exhaust. Im addicted to that backfire. Almost scared myself one time

 

And if you already have hearing lost the last thing you want to do is not wear ear protection
