After about 1.5 years of not having a front driveline I finally had one made, it uses 1310 U joints instead of the smaller ones that came stock with the front drivelines and has a pretty heavy duty slip joint. I had to re-drill the flange on the transfer case but that was a pretty easy process. After I installed it I had to take it out and make sure it was a correct length and had enough articulation in the joints. All in all I'm pretty stoked to have 4x4 again!

Ahh, maybe not then... I could've sworn I saw your taco because I remember the stripes and the...what is that a seat in the back? I only drove by because I was on my way back to work. It was sometime early afternoon

Do you mean my 4Runner? I don't have a Tacoma anymore, I had the silver dclb with relentless bumpers and the bedrack that I built but now I have the Tundra and the 4Runner.

I actually did something to my 4Runner. I've been wanting a roof rack for this thing for quite a while now but I hate the high profile of the Yakima/Thule racks so I made my own. Pretty stocked with how it has turned out so far.

Got back from King of the Hammers and mounted up an old take off set of 35" Toyos from my Tundra onto the Robby Gordon beadlocks. Front fiberglass makes the 35's look pretty small but hopefully when I bring the ride height down while reworking the suspension it'll sit better on the 35's

I think I saw you filling up at a gas station a few minutes out of winnemucca... around the second week of April?

What details are you looking for exactly? It's got a 302 out of a 95 mustang. Ford T-5 transmission adapted to a Toyota transfer case.

Probably wasn't me as I haven't traveled to far from Elko recently. But I did see a pretty similar one out in Big Smokey Valley a few months back. The guy was from Fernley I believe.

Tear down and mock up has began. I'll be rebuilding the 302 that's in it, running dual cases with an FJ Cruiser transfer case behind the stock Toyota case to achieve the drivers side drop. Ford 9" in the rear with spring under Deavers. Front is a Ford Dana 44 twin traction beam and based off of the solidworks drawing should be at 18" of travel with 10" coilovers. Front crossmember with be plate and boxed with tube running through it to stiffen it up. I'll be tubbing the back end to clear for suspension and running modified fiberglass bedsides. Front fender/core support will be cut off and be tubed to tie into the shock mounts and cage.

Well coilovers and bypasses in the front on the twin traction beams, then bypasses and deaver leaf springs in the rear. There is more to it than that but that’s the basic idea right now.

Cut the inner fenders out to fit some little shocks in there. After New Years I should be hitting it pretty hard, hope to make some good progress.6D0594F4-CE7C-4C6B-9450-8CFFC914D186.jpg
