He did the CCC again, missing SR5, TRd (the big money ones,) Aluminum wheels, spray in bed liner and Bucket seats. He's docking me big for a hole in the driver's bucket seat. It would be over $8000 if he would just enter the correct information for once.

Farmer's Insurance will make payouts for a Tacocma that was never made but not a loaded TRD 4x4.

Who would actually pay that--the truck new was 23,000 MSRP. I bought my 2005 for $23,000 new with 5 miles. This one has 200k.

You should speak to his supervisor then. If he ran your info incorrectly they need to right that.
When you talk to the supervisor show him the photo that shows the offroad sticker. Also what condition did he run your interior at?

He had $2283 in deductions, rust, soilage, and a hole in the drivers seat. Other than the hole it's all BS.

It's even worse than that. It has a back yard paint job. Mine is much better. The price of tacos is high here.

The only free advice I can give you is this.
    Don't buy this truck.
    https://www.carstory.com/detail/2002-toyota-tacoma-prescott_valley_az-5TEHN72N52Z056282
Notice thats the truck in your add from courtesy in Cottonwood on the 27th?
So, the pics were taken in Cottonwood, but the truck appears to be in Prescott now. If it was still in Cottonwood I could go look at it for you, but Im not wasting my time going to look at that overpriced hunk of shit in Prescott. How do I know its a hunk of shit, you ask, when I've never seen it? I know that crooked dealer and they sell overpriced worn out junk to the desperate and stupid that can't buy something somewhere else.
When I first started looking at a Tacoma, they had a single cab 4x4 I think TRD for 10 grand. It needed a paint job. I asked them how much is this 3,000$ P/U and the dude looked at me amazed saying its not 3 grand its 10. I laughed in his face, and he just looked confused and walked away. I guess he didn't know I didn't work at Walmart or something, and wasn't desperate and stupid. Then I went somewhere else and looked at a 2011 for 29grand, Then just went and bought a new one.
That was in Dec. That 2nd gen is still on that lot.
Ya, some people are paying 10 grand for the first gens. That doesn't mean they are worth it. It means some people are desperate or not to smart. EH. Whatever.
You have a 15ish year old truck with 150,000+ on the ODO. And it has sentiment value to you. That clouds your judgement as to its true value.
    Good luck getting your fixed.

    Math? 75% of 10,000 is 7500. 75% of 8000 is 6000.
    Didn't they offer you 6000?
Also, you situation about work is not their problem.
Again, your sentimentality over your truck is clouding your judgement.

The condition deductions are debateable. If you speak to the supervisor and make a big enough stink he may bring the condition up. As far as the trim and options they need to fix that. I would reach out to your claim reps boss and remain calm, but voice your frustration. Point out all the shit they missed, and the things that are still missing. Most likely when you point out how the field adjuster missed all the options, and the desk adjuster keeps stringing you along, he'll prolly hook you up on the condition.

He did another CCC. This one just doesn't add up the same way. Something is up with it.

I think at this point either let your insurance fight with them or just sue. Your time is worth something too, plus I wouldn't trust these people if their tongues came notarized

I feel sorry for the insurance company having to deal with the OP. He sounds like a pain that wants way more than his truck is worth. :deadhorse:

First, if people are paying the price then they are worth it. You never mentioned the mileage on the vehicles so your reference is skewed and biased. Also if you think Tacomas are "not worth it" why did you pony up $35k+ for a new one?

Second, a paid off vehicle is worth more than "sentimental value" as it's earning money. I understand why people lease, I just don't like wasting my money. To each their own.

    and third

I don't see why I should sign when the Value report still has obvious errors--even after it has been changed a half dozen times. He knew what it was in the beginning and I can prove it.

    My head hurts.

But that's just a preliminary estimate. I guarantee, once they were to tear it down there would be hidden damages, and that your truck is a total loss, especially if you have front end and rear end damages.

Also on an earlier post you pointed out that they didn't run the value as an off road or an SR5. Show your claim rep the estimate that references both the sticker and the badges.

I'm not saying Tacomas are worthless. I'm saying that 2002 tacoma that has rust and shit interior, with 260k+ miles is not worth the $10,000 that he thinks it is.
