Hey guys does anyone know where I can buy a ring and piñon (4.10 ratio) for the front 7.5 diff?

I bought a diff but it has 3.73s and I'm just curious if anyone knows where I can buy them if I need to?

I'm searched the internet with no luck

You may just want to consider buying an already assembled 4.10 clamshell. Setting up gears is something you likely aren't setup to do. Plus the clamshell is much harder than a normal diff to correctly set backlash and preload on. It would cost you more to put in 4.10 gears than it would to buy an already assembled 4.10 diff (quite possibly the most common one)

I have rebuilt differentials before. Setting back lash, piñon depth, etc is something I'm comfortable with and have the tools and equipment to do so.

The diff was too good of a price to pass up or I would have waited for a 4.10 clam

    Thank you for the reply

The lowest price I found on a 4.10 front diff was 400 in CA

Are you trying to match your rear diff or are you re-gearing all around to 4.10?

Oh okay, I was going to offer up my 4.30 ring and pinion set (front and rear) but it's for the open carrier rear axle.

Oh man that would have been something worth looking into. I actually would like to have the truck geared to 4.30 but with all the parts for the conversion and other electrical upgrades my budgets running low

Yup aftermarket only provides 4.56, 4.88, and 5.29 unfortunately, stock ratios are usually plentiful from wreck vehicles.

@Kens04Taco you can use front gears from any of these vehicles though so that may open up some choices.
