What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Bolt on? Good choice. I went weld on without even thinking about it, but since then I've heard that welding anything to your frame is not exactly legal in these parts. I'm slightly worried about getting a VI and having to remove them... I guess I should be more careful with tire poke and mudflaps to avoid getting a VI in the first place.

 

dang it man. yeah, Ive got no idea on the legality end of things

But, I waited a while and paid some good coin for these

Really like the striped flag plate. Who offers that design? Available in other states as well?

 

It is the first responder plate in AZ I am not sure if they have it in other states

I've always heard this but those chemicals aren't bad for the paint?

 

I've been doing it for years with no problems. Just make sure you thoroughly rise it off when you are done.

 

I guess it probably better to do it pre wash then wash it to get the chemicals off

 

Not trying to be a dick but what's so special about yours where "Everyone" tries to buy it? All I see is seat covers, a damn dash carpet, vinyl covered trim down the sides, grill, tires, etc.... nothing out of the usual...

 

Plus I think mine looks better

Had a Jones 2525xt muffler swapped in for the stocker also had the exit pipe chopped off after the axel. Sounds great. Totally pleased.
