I've been spying lots of different threads on TW for a while now, and TW is great too for helping problem solve installs gone goofy :D. This is probably going to look a lot like "Johnny's Black Supercharged 4x4" truck, happy accident or is black just a bad ass color for a taco?

This is what I started with:

Back in '15 someone came in and said "put those Tundra wheels on that black Tacoma" then never showed up to pick it up. His loss, my gain and yes it took me two years to finally start on the wish list.. Funny enough, I had a 2014 Super White that I was about to start building out by adding the TRD Exhaust and Super Charger. This happened to be there as I was getting an oil change.

The SC and Exhaust went here instead. (I do miss my manual though).

AND getting it dirty, (which lets face it..20" rims on 55 series tires do suck for OffRoad.

Okay, not that dirty, early season up on Monitor Pass looking for the road down to the Carson river.

Middle of '16 I added a Kenwood TM-281a, found it on super sale down at the Oakland HRO..

To the latest batch of upgrades:
    KMC Machete 16" rims
    Cooper Discovery AT3 LT265/75
    Icon Stage 4 with Tubulars
    Icon LCA covers
Pelfreybilt Aluminum with Center Hoops, and steel IFS Skid
Amber Squadron Fogs and S8 20" lightbar.

Going with a Black and Yellow theme on the exterior to match the California legacy plate.

Me installing the bumper...I know the instructions say "2 people minimum, maybe 3" but that bumper only weighs 80lb ;-)

Front setup with the ICON: the reservoir has since been repositioned with two clamps..

    And how it currently sits..

I removed all the external chrome and stickers a while back. Just trying to work on the B&Y theme mentioned above.

    Remaining Wishlist:
    Interior:
    Replace the Entune System:
Kenwood single DIN deck, no idea which one yet:
    100w amp
8" sub behind one of the rear seats
Swap out the speakers JL Audio
Replace the TM-281 with a TM-v71a (want to setup cross band repeating).

    External:
    Yellow D Rings
    Winch: Still shopping
    Rear swing out bumper

I am curious if folks who have mounted their 2m antennas on their front bumpers if it's made a difference in RF gain positive or negative. I think i'll setup some sort of telescoping setup for a 15 foot mast on the back to handle the cross band repeat etc.

Comments and suggestions welcome, this is a work in progress.
