Where I go to college I'll see several around the city. When I'm back home in the country I don't see any until I get to town.

I guess I got lucky. I only lost 500 after 6 months and it was SR with "special" package.

El Capitan check out the Frontier if the Titan doesn't work out. Frontier seems like a bargain! Looking forward to the next gen, unless it looks like the Navara which is maybe a half a notch above the Ridgeline in aesthetics. The Ridgeline is the visual equivalent of the brown noise.

Nissan makes a pretty solid, reliable vehicle though. My last vehicle was a Nissan and it was virtually problem free for 11 years when I sold it in good condition.

Rented a Frontier recently in Sedona and it felt like a turbo off the line. Seemed like a well-built truck. The rental had less squeaks/rattles/etc than my Tacoma I've babied for 16,000mi. Although it felt like a dog trying to pass on the highway. The 3rd gen is pretty good at passing on the highway for a truck despite some bullshit reviews showing it like 17s for 50-80mph vs like 8 seconds for GM twins. Once it downshifts, which is immediate if you punch it, this fucker will get up and go from 50-60 mph.

It's a shame all 3rd gen threads are getting off topic and turning into members complaining about all the issues these trucks have. He should sell the truck if he hates it that much.

I would sell it privately and not trade it in at the dealership as you know you are going to take a serious beating there. His truck is retailing for $34-35k and the deal will probably give him $30k for his truck. If he lists it on car gurus and doesn't mind waiting a little while to sell it he can get more for it.

Selling a vehicle you only had a few months to a year is always a poor financial decision regardless if you can afford it or not but don't be stuck with a truck you hate.

I'm not financially responsible either I paid over $36k for my truck and financed almost $26k on a $60k year salary but I'm young and single with no other financial obligations so it will be easier for me to recover from my impulsive purchase.

I wish El captain the best and hope he gets the truck of his dreams life is too short to drive a vehicle you hate.

Before you pull trigger on titan, read forums. I read that new titans(diesel) have a lot of issues.

Tacomas are the official state truck of Hawaii. They are everywhere here. But I don't see any 3rd gens, or any other vehicles for that matter since I haven't left the house for weeks :D

My bad I went off topic...
If I was counting I bet I see 50 a day maybe more .. We here in Hawaii probably have more Tacos per capita that anywhere else on planet earth.
If I counted all the gens it would be hundreds.
    No offense @ElCapitan just jkn

Kodiak AK is starting to get more 3rd Gens. Tons of 2nd and first Gens. Most 1st gens are island beaters that are bought and sold during transfer season from Coasties. I think there are 4 or 5 3rd gens now on the island. I am still the only 16 Quicksand OR. =P

Smitty. You love your truck.. Right now, getting rid of it would be like Contemplating on Divorcing a once hot piece of ass that gained 120lbs. The only thing keeping you in the marriage is that she will take everything you love and leave you sleeping under the bridge with shit stained underwear, destined to dig at your dirty shitty butt hole the rest of your days till you die a lonely death, probably to another bum with a broken bottle and a crack addiction.. Just sayin

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
I rarely see any on work days. 10 min drive to work. I have the only 3rd gen in my town and only 4 tacos total. Going to work I might see 8-10 vehicles total...mostly big rigs.
