I'm just happy the sunglasses holder can actually hold glasses other than aviators.

How? I've been through all sorts of deep snow, Mud, off roading and have never come close to getting stuck

Had the same thought-- not a real avid 4wd guy-- use the truck for access to cool places but never 4wd for its own sake. Hence, will likely never use Crawl. I've had a 2017 OffRoad for a couple weeks (it replaced a 2005 TRD Sport) and am a little bummed at the lack of "cubbies" in the 2017. Granted, I was used to the various storage spots in the old one, but will miss the sunglass holder and the little cubbie above the left knee. Yeah, the forward center spot is biggish, but that's where the Qi phone charger is and I use it as such. Hence, nothing can go there without screwing up the phone charging. Little problems, to be sure-- I'll probably spring for one of those $.49 sunglass clips at the Dollar Store.

I dunno, probably that the conditions I was driving in were different than the conditions you were driving in? That happens. Vehicles have their limits and I've come close to finding them for a stock OR model whereas you have not.

I have CC and use my Qi charger tray as my sunglasses holder.

Apparently not in the cup holders

    Back to the voting....
My vote is neither. Have the sun glass holder and never use it, and don't have crawl control.

Sun glasses are in a glasses case which goes in a cup holder.

This is the best option by far, but not available for those of us who want the access cab so it will fit in our garage.

While taking my buddies for a ride in the neighborhood, I just can't imagine them being as impressed when I say "hold my beer" and then pop open the sunglasses holder.

Need something to occupy us between posts about transmissions, diffs, resetting trip computer, best lift opinions, and biggest tires I can fit on the rig.
