Ahh!!! the dreaded gas mask!! That's a tough one for those of you who have never shot a gun wearing a gas mask (even worse with the old masks with filters on lower cheek). Talk about keeping your seal intact, breathing, trigger control, aperture, and sight alignment. hahahaha. Now I see why it's a tough one for you....for anyone.
The corps does 200y Able target (round silhouette) (sitting, kneeling, standing), 300y Dog target (shoulder up) (sitting, kneeling), 500y B mod (waist up silhouette) (prone). It's pretty tough but I can see how the air force makes it tough too with the smaller targets. We practiced a lot dry firing at smaller targets, so it makes a lot of sense to do it that way.

I was thinking the same thing, shooting with a mask on must be a bitch.

hahahaha I find this funny since we just talked about why you wanted to KEEP your swaybar.... since you cut some end link bolts, it sounds like you have a great opportunity to make some quick disconnects that we talked about as well!

PICS! I definitely want to see this.... and are you higher in the front now?

since you have an RTT, the headstrong 3 leaf might be the best bet for $188
    http://www.headstrongoffroad.com/st...Add-a-leafs_with_u-bolts_-_HS-TOY055-3AL.html

or if you just want something a little cheaper but still get some height for $45
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/1995-2015-T...ash=item3a70e56417:g:RJIAAOSw5ZBWQHRq&vxp=mtr

lol forever probably... I used to complain about our M4s and M16s in the Army being old and shitty.... then I saw what a bunch of my Air Force buddies were shooting with.... haha

Can you tell them you dont want a bumper, that you will install it yourself and order a Pelfrey built?

We should totally do a night run!!! Haha

And as far as going up to Toyota take over, (I figure it's easier to discuss it on this thread than the Event Thread) I will defer to the group.... if you guys want to take friday off and roll up there in the AM.... we can do that... or if you just want to roll up friday evening and wheel Sat / Sun we can do that to....

OR.... my house in WV is 2.5 hours away from the park.... if you guys would like to either meet up at my house as a rally point and go up from there, or come up Thursday night and stay the night, youre also welcome.... we have plenty of space....

Haha I guess Chuy's has a serious following. Sad to say that is the only spot where I will consider not eating Mexican at.

I figured in order to keep the orientation right on the weapon you would have to maneuver it slightly to get around the nose piece/mouth piece.

Night runs IMO are so much more fun than during the day. Makes most things more challenging!

So the issue is after working on them, i dont see a way a quick disconnect would work. The bar doesnt have enough room to swing away.

Simulated is the absolute worst. I love the pop-up ranges. I miss those days.

Everything about it just isn't my style. I feel like their margs are from a college party, I think their food is a little salty for me. They have like 5 sauces, but none of them really hit my spot. Again, this is probably more subjective than anything, but yea man if I go there...probably just get a Corona.

Yea AF makes it challenging in that sense. However, there is no dry fire practicing or actual distance shooting unless you are going through a specific training program.

By all means though, there seems to be enough of a following that its probably worth checking out for you.

agreed! pop on the ditch lights and the rock lights and go to town!

    haha yea that's understandable.....

so from these posts... it sounds like we all need a mexican food meet up and a night run at Peter's Mill / Taskers

yea we had to remove my cross memebers to remove my sway bar. haha.... well maybe you can drive it around w/ no sway bar or find someone that will give you their links or something

Pop up ranges are fun. I personally loved, and miss some of the training I had the opportunities to go through. Shoot houses, threat drills with swivel targets, and more CQB lol. Fun training... intense stuff.
