    When I bought it:IMG_0247.jpg
This is my second Tacoma, my first was a '05 Silver DCSB OR. When gas prices went through the roof in the 06-07 timeframe, I decided to downsize to a Subaru for commuting. My wife hated that car so bad that she used the birth of our son to trade it in for a Honda Pilot...which was nice, but the absence of the Taco always haunted me. In late 2015 I dropped her off at the mall, went over to Toyota and traded the Pilot in for a 2015 Black DCSB OR. She liked it, I wasn't in too much trouble.

It already had dealer installed mods such as a bull bar, nerf bars, Thule roof rack, spacer lift, the XD Rockstar II wheels, and Nitto Terra Grapplers. It was blacked out and very attractive on the showroom floor. Then TacomaWorld happened. As well as my good friend @Arcticelf who is an expert at spending my money.

The first mod that happened was when a local car wash ripped the Thule roof rack off. They admitted fault and did the body work and replaced with a OEM rack which I like better. No charge to me and I was able to sell the Thule.

The rest has been either TacomaWorld or online shopping finds...usually as a result of TW.

    Mods So Far:

    Armor:

    -RCI IFS/Trans/T-Case/A-Arm Skids @Joshp767
-Third hand Rock Sliders from @TinyTech626 which @Arcticelf installed. I believe @Mobtown Offroad did some work on these as well.
-Custom front bumper inspired by Pelfreybilt/Brute Force Hybrid designs. As usual, @Arcticelf did the welding and sanity-checking.
    - @RelentlessFab front bumper braces

    Suspension:

-Full OME Kit from @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc. Went with Nitrocharger Sport 90000's, 886 Coils, and Dakar Leaf pack.
    -Upper Control Arms from JBA

    Interior:

-Various MicTuning switches (Zombie, Sasquatch...) - The kid loves them
-2 x Power outlets mounted on the center console and wired to the inverter
-Uniden 510XL mounted forward of the rubberized cup holders *cutting required*
-Fire Extinguisher Mount under passenger seat
    - @Tbird Clearview Rearview Mirror Riser with Ram Mount from BirdDawg Industries
    -A-Pillar Ram Mount

    Exterior:

    -OEM Roof Rack
    - ARE Cap
    -RCI HiLift Jack mounts
-RotoPax Water/Gas cans...because that extra 2 gallons could mean the difference between life and having to walk 20 miles...
    -Quick Fists for the Shovel/Axe
-Total Chaos Bed Stiffeners - They work, worth the mod
-ARB Simpson III RTT w/ Annex
    -ARB awning
-AM Autoparts Flip Up towing mirrors for the travel trailer
    -RockyMounts roof basket
    - Homebrew swingout tailgate with spare tire mount and Jerry can mount

    Mechanical:

    -Rear Diff Breather Mod
-ECGS Needle Bearing replacement - had the needle bearing replaced twice by the dealer in the first two years of ownership. ECGS to the rescue.
    - @allpro U-Bolt Flip Kit
    - @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc Super Bumpstops
    - @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc extended rear brake lines
    -Safari Snorkel

    Electrical/Lighting:

    -KC Apollo Spots -@Taylor@KC HiLiTES
-Rigid Ignite Diffused lights as fog replacements.
-Blue Sea Blade installed. Less spaghetti.
-Rear LED flood lights mounted on rack. Amazon cheepos.
-Amazon cheepo rock lights mounted under the rocker panels, wired to dome light
-Relentless Fab Ditch Light Brackets with Rigid Dually Midnight Spots
-Trailer wiring harness relocated to bumper, 2" hole drilled with some Dremel work on the connector.

    Recovery:
    -Smittybilt Gen 2 XRC 9.5K / Synthetic
    -Smittybilt hitch D-Ring
    -HiLift Jack
    -HiLift ORK
-5lb fire bottle mounted to interior of tailgate
    -JakJaw for the HiLift

    Tires & Wheels:

    -Mickey Thompson Classic III; 16x8
-Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ P3; 285/75R16
    - Full size spare and factory spare
    -Cab Mount chop

    Mods Procured/Being Shipped/Awaiting Install:

    -Spindle Gussets from @allpro

Mods Coming Soon - Awaiting Funds:
-High Clearance Rear Bumper - I've promised
@Mobtown Offroad and I intend to keep it.

Wife calls the truck my Mistress...hence the name

Maybe you need to come visit my new shop, and we can put a set together. As long as you don't mind square tube like I have it's an easy process.

Did you keep any steel to make gussets with?

You need some on the mounting plates where the bolts are.

All the extra steel is at your place. I kept the winch plate and two smaller plates for the bottom mounting bolts. But I need a welder...know of one? :)

Very soon. I just got some garage space...

I'll bring you some plate you can cut into gussets.
