Well not yet anyway. Speculation is Toyota maybe expanding the recall and VINs affected.

Hey we have a new guy!
    Welcome pkolanko!!

Yeah, I went and looked a brand new Raptor that my Ford dealer had outside the lot railing by the road the other day and it was Beautiful!
Being a car/truck buff myself, It looked tiny and not the monster I had imagined and read about and seen on the road, but it was white and it was full size, it just looked small to me at the time for some reason, maybe the color.

And I thought, gee I could easily trade mine in for that before someone else sees it and have what everyone says is King-Kong!
    The big dog!

I looked at the price tag, some $70+ grand, I looked at my trouble free taco, and I rode away into the sunset, happily ever after that I don't let the statuesque influence me.

Now my wallet thanks me, and my family thanks me, and my beer buddies thank me when I buy a round with my $35k grand I save over it

Happy motoring new guy, and enjoy the show!
    Cheers!

I was made an offer on my Raptor that I couldn't refuse. It made sense at the time, but I miss it dearly. I don't miss parking it or making trips to the gas station twice a week lol.

Smitty, maybe you are trying too hard! haha unplug the battery and drive the thing like you stole it. I've seen some posts here a few months ago of the trucks driving into trains and shit, maybe that's them trying to teach the transmission? Lol

I did look at the Power Wagon and don't really feel it fits my personality. I have the money for the Raptor, but it would be foolish to spend that much. The tacoma is the smart choice. The wagon is just a huge truck and I wanted something a little smaller, but just as agressive. I also question the reliability of a RAM.

I love the aggressive look of the Raptor, but moreso the fact it performs much better than a regular F150. That is why I didn't get a Pro. It's just a regular tacoma...nothing improved.

Mine is always better for what seems to be the first 3k miles after they Flash my ECU...then once it "Learns" it starts driving crappy again. I've tried several approaches of "training" the tranny: 1. granny driving; 2. Dale Earnhardt driving; 3. normal driving. I've tried NOT using cruise for the first 2k miles and I've tried not using ECT button.

If they sold the Power Wagon with a cummins, I'd have already made the switch.

taking up two spots is the same as double parking, but I would also take up two spots on a city street to make sure I could back in and out. I said it learned to shift differently. I didnt actually mean there was more power. Thanks for noticing!!!

Have you ever driven a miata? So many people bash all these cars without any experience behind the wheel. It does exactly what it claims to do. It's a super peppy, small convertible, with an amazing shifter, that puts a smile on your face everytime you drive it.

I agree, I've owned 2, one is a spec for the track and does laps around your typical Corvette and M3 fan boys who thinks their 60k car is badass. The smile on my face when my "beater" passes them is the absolute best feeling ever.
