    I cant give 100% confirmation.

But the softoppers use the bedrails and top of bedsides to mount onto your bed...

With a tonneau, these are covered...aren't they?

Looking at the install instructions it seems it would interfere with the tonneau brackets in the bed rails. I would like to know for sure as well before ordering a softopper

Yes, but you can remove the factory tonneau (just one bolt). However, the trucks that have the factory tonneau have cuts in the bed rails for the latches (see image below from a google search, it shows the bed rail if you remove the factory tonneau.)

I'll make it work one way or another... but it looks like it *should* be fine.

Talked to Softopper today and got the difference between 2nd gen and 3rd gen tops straightened out. They redesigned the tops when the 3rd gen went on the market. The new top flush with the cab and the rear window was redesigned to fit the new tailgate.

Production of 2nd gen tops were changed at this time which will allow it to also fit the 3rd gen if you buy the rear window conversion parts. If your top was built prior to this you cannot do the window conversion.

So... if you purchase a top for your 2nd gen during this Group Buy... and later decide to buy a 3rd gen Taco... you will be able to get the conversion parts for the rear window.

I bought my top in 2012 so I can't convert.

Here are a few pics they sent me of the 3rd gen top.

    Hope this was helpful.

So that curved rear bar is nice to match the tailgate, but does the rear flap always bunch up like in the picture or doe it just need some adjustment there?

I can't tell if that's the rear bar or the fabric is bunched. Maybe it does just need some adjustment. I would think you could get it flatter than that.

Mike, you got any pics of how yours fits against the tailgate? Yours looked better than that if I remember right.

Here are 2 pics for reference. I also have a 2in x 4ft aluminum bar on the window piece so it keeps it flush and doesn't flap as much in the wind

Much appreciated. I know the bar is curved, but with the soft canvas it should conform pretty well.

Hit post just as I got the notification. That looks great.... You don't see any need to velcro the flap with the aluminum bar then I'm assuming? The flap on my '14 Softtopper has never had velcro a D I have zero issues.

I'm jealous. Ordered mine on Monday and the tracking shows a rescheduled arrival of 5/8 :(
The rough weather lately in the Midwest is impacting UPS deliveries.
