Head over to apexoverland.com and shoot Josh an email. Ask him to price out some springs for you and let him know what you want, like give him exactly what you're looking for. He'll work with you and he's a super cool guy. I don't have a ton of spring recommendations for you unless you plan on adding about 2-3" up front. He's a great guy, works fast and will hook you up. Tell him Tyler from South East Tacomas sent you and he'll see what he can do.

They're awesome! And they come in "blem" also if you prefer. Got this whole set of 285/75 R16's for 840 out the door. Had them off road a couple times now and the do awesome!

Tire.jpg The factory "Offroad" tires are pretty much worthless in mud.

Quiet on hwy, good wet/dry traction, great for daily driving year round and light offroading. Maxxis has mud tires too.

Currently running Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10's and they have done pretty decent. Probably going to switch to Cooper AT3's in a 265/75R16 load range C come beginning of next winter (september / november)

They seem like a good all around tire that should do even better than the ARM RF10

I popped a Dakota Definity All Terrain (Pep Boys BFG AT knock-off) sidewall way the F out in Shasta Trinity NF miles from cell service on a "4WD only" road. The whole area is known for sharp rocks and logging debris. Could I have prevented it by being more vigilant about what I was driving over? Probably. I got into a tight spot and had to do a narrow trail 5 point turn-around on a steep slope and wasn't too concerned with my tires at that particular moment. But after that I wanted the best tire I could get to give myself as much margin of error as possible because I'm frequently out there by myself or at least with no other vehicle. I talked to a gentleman who happened to work in vehicle maintenance for Shasta Trinity NF and he said he's had the fewest punctures in that terrain with the Cooper ST Maxx and he puts them on all his forestry vehicles now, so I plunked down for 5 of them in 235/85/16 (which is a somewhat cheap size) to have a matching spare and peace of mind. Yeah it was expensive but I have all the faith in the world in them and I also daily drive the vehicle so I genuinely believe I have the best tire available for my purposes.

If anyone could help..I have an opportunity to buy some used AT3s, coming off of a Jeep Wrangler. I'm curious if the load rating and whatnot will work with the tacoma. Thanks in Advance

They look good. Any rubbing issues? I had to level my truck to get my Falkens to fit.

For those of you who like white letters, any recommendations on which ones look best? Im just not a fan of blackwalls on these trucks (unless maybe it's an X-Runner). No off-roading here, just normal highway usage. We do get a lot of heavy rain here, so wet traction is important. I usually buy my tires from Tire Rack.

My truck just had brand new Terra Grappler 265/70-17s put on it before I bought it, less than 500 miles on them. Any ideas what I could sell them on Craigslist for?

I have after market rims, 17". I was concerned about load/ply and speed rating.

C load range is ideal for a taco unless you are off roading ALL the time. C is a bit better than P which is standard on the taco. E range is meant for big trucks with 10k tow ratings.
