I'm in slc and I want to get one of the new caliraised 5d bars to install on my 2016 trd or dblcb lb. But I am not very mechanically handy.

Any chance anyone on here has installed one of these in the area and would be willing to trade some time for beer or lunch or whatever?

I don't doubt someone in our group is savvy enough to pull that off. Are you looking for mounting, wiring, whole nine yards?

I just installed a 30" light bar behind my bumper. What bar are you looking at installing and where are you installing it? What kind of switch do you want?

Thanks buddy, I am looking at the Cali Raised set up and not sure about switch placement probably on the left side of the steering wheel. Where did you place yours?

There was a blank spot for a switch beside the rear window slider that I replaced with one that I got on Amazon. I installed the light bar using the CaliRaised brackets and it has worked out pretty well. The most difficult part of the install was getting the light bar mounted to the bracket without being able to see anything. I'm on the east bench, so if you're close by, I wouldn't mind helping one of these days.

Awesome! Thanks man! If you don't mind that would be huge I would give you some cash or beer if you drink at all?

I don't, but as long as I have time, I don't mind helping out. I had people helping me when I learned how to do stuff. Shoot me a PM and we'll figure something out.

That thing was such a pain to get aligned correctly. I ended up folding the foam padding that was shipped with the lightbar in a way that supported the bar in the right place. You have to screw it in blind if you don't want to take off your whole bumper. I finally got it in after nearly giving up a few times.

I've lost one bolt already and a trip to Lowes for replacement bolt. Very frustrating

Awesome, glad you got it. I love having my light behind the bumper...keeps it looking clean.
